Since 2019, I’ve proudly owned and operated a minimal production space located in Birmingham, Alabama, which has, over time, become a staple of the vibrant creative community in the area. This studio represents not only a monetary business venture but also a vital hub where people can come together to express themselves freely and authentically. The inviting space has hosted numerous meetups specifically for local photographers and models, a variety of art shows showcasing local talent, and an annual yearbook that celebrates everyone connected to the studio and their creative contributions.

Before the Studio
Before opening the studio in 2019, Vibestreet was my creative outlet for any medium I wanted to try my hand at. Smart Shirts
The Smart Shirts are one of my favorite creations within Vibestreet. These were shirts with an NFC tag sewn behind the Vibestreet embroidered logo that when tapped with your phone would take you to the Vibestreet website. As implemented, the shirt link could also be updated from my end. Therefore, I could update the link and tell customers who already owned one to go check their shirts for exclusive content that was only available to those with a smart shirt. The NFC tags within the shirts are waterproof and don’t require recharging, therefore shirts could be washed for years and the product will still work. This was one of my most innovative and ambitious undertakings which means it was one of the most rewarding as well.
